Dolonchampa Nazrul Foundation
First of all, I express my respect and gratitude towards Kazi Nazrul Islam. I bow my head to the Almighty for being born into a family like his. Whenever I attend various literary events, I see many poets reciting beautiful poems dedicated to Kazi Nazrul. For quite some time, I had been planning to compile various writings about Kazi Nazrul by different poets into a book. Finally, the book titled ‘Shawto Kobitay Nazrul’ is ready for publication. Over time, I always believe that any task finds completion. Inspired by Kazi Rezaul Karim, Pronoti Bandyopadhyay, Shachinandan Pal, and Dr. Kazi, I have been able to bring out this book, with significant assistance from Mithu Moulik Banerjee. Many congratulations to the poets who have contributed to this book. May Dolanchampa and his family stride forward guided by the poet’s ideals, may Churulia become a sacred land resonating with the echoes of people’s footsteps.
